The base of this system are pipes and couplers in gray colour. We also offer the sewage system elements if white colour which are designed for installation in places of higher aesthetics. The high durability and quality make our products desirable in residential and general buildings. Production is carried out with the use of modern technology machines and precision tooling. This results in high dimensional precision in the repetitive production process of our elements. Our biggest asset is the availability of the produced elements even during peak season.

Shower drains

The KARMAT linear shower drain is made from high quality chromium-nickel stainless steel 1.4301, which is resistant to corrosion and aggressive chemicals such as those found in cleaning agents. Traps and other elements are also made of resistant plastics. The materials provide of failure-free of operation in accordance with the expectations of customers. It is possible to produce desired lengths up to 6000mm upon special request.

Installation method of the linear shower drain

The special design of the grate DUO allows for installation in two ways. One side of the grate can be filled with ceramic tile whereas the other side, after turning over, gives us a flat metal surface.In both cases the water is drained through narrow slits between the grate and the main body. Damping pads located under the grate are made of a special plastic so as to eliminate the impact and friction between the metallic components of the linear shower drains.

Linear shower drain installation does not necessarily have to be made by a professional, but you should make sure to set the height of grates exactly, taking into consideration the level of the sealant, insulation, tiles and the concrete screed laid on the floor.

During installation, a 2% declination, in the direction of the drain, must be accounted for proper operation of the shower drain. It is recommended to place a water proofing membrane (optional extra) on the layer of liquid rubber or foil which is on the screed. Elastic grout must be used on the entirety of the washbasin.

Sample installation

In accordance with regulations, the Internal Sewage Drainage System produced by Karmat is designated for indoor applications but may also be used on the outer walls of buildings. The installation operates gravitationally.

We recommend using ready-made lubricants available in shops. You should not use any petroleum based lubricants such as grease or oils.

Assembly is carried out by connecting the socket of the connector or a pipe, equipped with a rubber gasket, with a bare end of any component.

Storm water drainage system

Easy installation

If there is no possibility to drain storm water to a drainage system, an innovative simple and effective solution developed by Karmat is the overflow well. This installation drains water away from buildings (up to tens of meters away) and then it overspills it over the surface area. While redistributing water over the surface area it also simultaneously waters a selected area or part of a garden. The system continuously exudes remaining storm water into the ground which prevents the system from freezing over, thus drain pipes can run shallow beneath the ground surface.
